THE GOOD BITS

Some information to help give you peace of mind with your relationship with us:

Before delivering our crates to you on rental, we will have already checked each one individually and assessed it’s suitability for hire. Our crates will be both serviceable and clean, inside and out.

Our delivery drivers will have been Police checked and, for educational establishments, are CRB cleared.

SOME HELPFUL BITS

Again, common-sense is to be applied, but you may find the following guidance helpful with regard to handling. It is also advisable that correct lifting procedures are employed at all times.

Ensure that the start of a tower is on flat, level surface, the heights of both nested and stacked columns really comes down to what is physically achievable by the stacker. Clearly heavier crates should be at the bottom. Both nested and stacked towers in transit MUST be restrained and secured, to the insides of the van.

Also a timely reminder NOT to stand or sit on crates. The only thing to stack on top of a crate is... another crate!

THE UNFORTUNATE BUT HAVE TO BE COVERED BITS

Our aim is to dispense with small, fine, light, grey print which nobody reads until it’s too late.

Instead, we prefer to use straight forward fairness and common-sense to cover costs or losses incurred when our boxes come back in need of excess cleaning, repair or replacement.

Crates are sometimes returned needing attention such that rehire is not possible till sorted. For instance, labels placed in areas other than designated dapple zones may incur alcohol cleaning or freezing to remove. Similarly if crates are returned soiled, stained from spillage's etc, then we will need to make unavailable for rehire whilst steam cleaning. We have to charge £3 per crate.

If this cleaning fails, and our criteria is (would you like to receive this box from us?) then it’ll be assessed as damaged. When we return for collection at the end of the hire we will run through the crates and identify any problem crates at this time before seeking sign-off.
If crates are damaged or lost then obviously we need to replace them.

Rest assured we would do our utmost to keep this cost to a minimum for you. After all, we want to keep you as a customer, one that would be happy to return.
